the Librivox site stated that their directory was "unavailable and having issues".
Wowie was very easy to use - high demands were not available... mostly self-published things. HCPL has a wide variety of items to download - ours is easy to use and easy to find something by subject. I'm glad that it will be "growing" and increasing in number of items. I have downloaded a book from HCPL in the past.
